Amazing Food

Had a lovely meal today with my wife at the Black dog. We sat in the Dome outside enjoying the lovely sunshine. The staff were very welcoming and food was delicious.... Very happy ?

Attentive service, great food

We were lucky enough to have a warm evening outside in the dome to celebrate a friend’s upcoming wedding. The staff were really attentive and put up decorations for the occasion and sent a round of complementary mocktails. Even without these additional touches, the staff were friendly and helpful and the food was amazing. We were well looked after and felt totally safe with the current situation.

Perfect in every way!

Such a wonderful experience from walking through the door my husband and I felt at home. Greeted by a lovely lady who wished us happy anniversary such a warm welcome. Lovely setting sat indoors beautiful classy decor all tables set with a rose and candle very romantic. We chose garlic and cheese bread and Korean chicken delicious followed by Chateaubriand with mushrooms chips peppercorn sauce and separate red wine jus DEVINE! Staff attentive nothing to much trouble even though it was busy. Social distancing and hand sanitisers really felt safe everywhere spotlessly clean. I can not recommend this beautiful place enough....you won’t be disappointed! Can’t wait to return thank you once again to all the staff you work very hard!

Favourite pub in Chester

Absolute gem . The decor and ambience is warm and cosy combined with a designer flair. The food is quite delicious. I had the lamb which was superb. Always a test of a great chef ! I’ll be back (many times)...

Perfect Sunday Dinner with the Family

We booked a Dome for our Family Sunday Dinner. We are a foodie Family and We all loved it, Abousloutly Gorgeous Food and the Staff were Friendly and Welcoming. Really dog friendly and Willow was even treated to some roast beef. Will be going back for sure, now we have found this little Gem.
